Season Debut: Confiding in Mama?

Dearest Journal, I am scared to admit this. However, I may need to Confide in Mama about what I need to do with my situation with Mr Fitzgerald. I am all abuzz and confused as to what I should do. I see three different and plausible roads to traverse: we marry whilst I accept the child; we go our separate ways. I continue the season and see what happens afterwards between us, or we carry on in secrecy (to society). I make an appearance for the season.

That last option is precarious; however, if anyone hears about what we are doing, my reputation is tarnished, and we will be forced to marry. Otherwise, I will be forced into spinsterhood. Is He worth it?
